Cameras Down

Success…I think! Hope you can all access the cams now?!
Fiona

Update: Everything appears to working at this end now, but many of you don’t seem to be able to view anything. Has anyone got a picture? I may have to restart the system to try and fix the problem.
Fiona

Hi folks unfortunately the cameras went down last night, ( along with all the computers, lights and all!) due to a major power cut. the power came on again late last night, but I am stills trugggling to get everything relinked up this morning-  I will try to be as quick as possible. Our apologies Emma

My apologies to those that tried to visit the South African Black Eagles webcam……..I did forget to mention that the camera is only operational from 7.00 am (S.A. time) to (I think) 6.00pm (S.A. time). Gets dark very early, especially in our Winter!
I have an idea that S.A. time is one hour ahead of your Summer Time.
Thanks for telling us that the cameras are down – I’ve been trying all morning to visit “the family”.

Hi Zoe and thanks for posting link – I went on this morning when cams were down here, and there was eaglet panting in the already quite high temperatures. I’m sure O-Team won’t mind the mention and links to these other sites, afterall, apart from all of this being global aren’t we all in the same boat here in the sense that all of us are rooting for the survival of all of these magnificent birds? The problems they are facing, in spite of the terrific work that is being done to help them, from ever increasing numbers of humans with ever increasing demands for space and resources alone is frightening enough, illustrated very well by the google-earth map on the site, one just wonders how much longer the eagles can hang on in the face of all that…..and then there is the wonderful female who surely is on an equal footing with her pendant at the Loch of the Lowes in what they both have achieved. I urge everyone to try and watch at least for a few mins. every day each and every one of these cams, be they here in Scotland, there in South Africa or over in Canada or the US, it is a privilege to be witness to the events that unfold, no matter how happy or sad they are!

I’m afraid I can’t get either cam 1 or cam2, just a black screen !!! I’m missing my Osprey fix for the day !!!

I haven’t been able to watch anything for about 18 hours or more here in the USA. I definitely am having withdrawals. Love my ospreys. Hope you are able to get cameras back up so we don’t go all sad and lonely.

Hi guys – still no picture from either cam here in Nottingham.

I have missed “our” ospreys since last night, and wondered if there was a power cut or something.
Sorry, but the cams are still not working. I know you will be doing everything you can to get them up and running again.
Off to play my accordion with my Celtic band at the local summer fair here in sunny Manitoba. Will probably get eaten alive by all the mosquitoes LOL
