Hedgehog, I have seen them in the flesh and daylight from the window myself there. (Right or not right, Peter F?) I think they are so funny on their surprisingly long legs and they can run so fast.

Hi Wrinklie, Thank you for telling me about the programme, and pointing me back to it, how do you do that! Wow, aren't you a clever lad.
I actually thought the scenic views, were 'real', you should set up teaching lessons on utube. When you have time to spare. Thank you once again. Impressed.

Afternoon to all from a beautifully sunny Douglas!
Shirley, I must have scrolled past your "challenge" for a blog poem, and Shirley Anne beat me hands down with her cracking poem, but I've spent a bit of time musing and came up with this tribute to us all; I'll apologise now for it's length!!

Bloggers of the Lowes unite, for this is our domain
We're joined in Osprey homage, and here we should remain
It's our font of Osprey knowledge, for our daily "fix" of news
And if you click upon the webcam, you'll see some cracking lochside views!
But it's so much more than just the birds, it's full of "this and that"
And if you're feeling sad or blue, just log in for a chat!
There's a super team of experts, who perform a mammoth task,
But if there's anything you want to know, just go ahead and ask
Be patient though, they're busy, as they run the centre too
But be sure they'll note your query, and they'll soon get back to you!
There's folk who keep the records, that keep us up to date,
And others who post sightings of our birds as they migrate
We've a resident musician, and some who post in rhyme
It's a real indication of how we spend our time!
There are those who post us videos, to supply our osprey needs
And to prove how mixed our blog is, there's even one who studies weeds!! (had to put Nuphar in somewhere!)
We're from all points of the compass, north, south, east, and west
We're truly international, which proves our blog's the best
We've become a virtual family, and now we'll stick together,
We're a "CAMARADERIE" of bloggers, and of course, "birds of a feather!!"

Apologies if I've not covered everyone, it's not intentional, rather "artistic licence" to make it fit!!
